It’s an exciting time for those of us who work on health care issues here in Washington. As the national discussion about health care reform continues, America’s Agenda will work with leaders from our past Summit Conversations to highlight some of the key policy issues related to reducing health care costs and finding consensus on bipartisan comprehensive health care reform. We want to continue to host a productive conversation about the future of health care in America and how best to support health reform policies that help to lower costs for families and businesses and improve quality of care for all patients.
Over the next two weeks, we’ll take a look at the substantive and interesting discussions from our previous Summit Conversations. These comments from business, labor, government and health care leaders are optimistic and show remarkable consensus on many key health care issues important to the reform debate.
Check back in the next few days to watch comments from Dr. Donna Shalala, President of the University of Miami, Dr. Ken Thorpe, Director of Health Policy and many others.
